Temporary Homestay Families


The school district is looking for students whose families would welcome hosting a high school student from Japan in their homes, from Monday, October 16 to Wednesday, October 25. During the school day, students will be attending classes.

Meet ‘n Greet ‘n Eat!


The ELC will be having a pancake breakfast Monday, September 18th from 8-9am.  Come meet your student’s teachers and have them fill your belly with some delicious pancakes!  As well this year we are very excited to have representatives for the Cops for Cancer and the Big Bike in attendance and will be doing a toonie drive to help send them on their way.  

Boys Soccer Tryouts


Grade 10/11/12 boys soccer tryouts will be held September 7th, 8th, and 11th – 3:30 to 5:30pm on the Upper Field at North Peace Secondary.
Regular practices will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30pm.

First Week at the ELC!

The first week at the ELC will be a fun filled week!  There are no school supplies needed for the first day or week and students will be sent home an information package on the first day with further information.

TPOL’s

All ELC students will be presenting their TPOL’s (Transitional Presentation of Learning) next week June 19-22nd.   TPOL’s are a presentation given to teachers and parents/guardians by the student and is a reflection on the student’s year –
